Here's our story

I had the fortune to travel around the world since I was very young. It’s exciting to travel to an unknown place and experience their beautiful culture and surroundings’.

6 years ago I was in for a lonely ride…

After graduating university I decided to go backpacking in Australia for a year – alone. I had the time of my life.

Year and a half later, I was itching to go traveling again but there were limited possibilities because of the covid pandemic. I took my chances and went to Lisbon (Portugal) where I would live for the next eight months.

It was nothing like Australia. It was an interesting time with a lot of tough moments where I learned a lot about myself, traveling and life in general.

Through this experience, I realized that I thrive when I get to connect with other people.

Then and there, I decided to go into the city to meet new people. I was shocked about what I saw: people where mainly focused on sharing their travels on social media, but it looked like they lost sight on what really mattered: sharing actual offline travel experiences with each other.

I asked around my friend group if they felt this was out of balance as well and they said ‘yes’. I wasn’t alone and this had me thinking.

People don’t know how to travel without their phones anymore and need tools to collect offline tangible memories, the friends journal was born…

Globetrotters Traveling is for those who value true human connections and lasting memories from adventures across the globe.

Enjoy crossing borders, together…
